Padubidri: Man dies, wife critical as speeding bus knocks them down

Padubidri, October 10, 2024: A man lost his life while his wife sustained serious injuries after a private bus knocked them down while they were crossing the road at Muloor on the NH 66 on Wednesday night.

The deceased is Hidayatullah (55) of Kaup. His wife Savar has been hospitalized. The two were crossing the road  to go to a hotel on the other side of the highway when the private bus heading towards Mangaluru from Udupi rammed into them.

Padubidri police have registered a case.
