Pandeshwar cops bust fake certificate racket

Mangalore, Jan 8, 2013 : Pandeshwar police have busted a fake certificate racket and have arrested two persons who were preparing and selling fake marks cards of Mangalore University. Computers, several fake documents and other equipment have been seized from them.

 

 

 

The arrested have been identified as Nawaz Ahmed and Ravindranath Nayak. The arrest took place near Subhashnagar Junction on January 7, when Nawaz was riding his scooter, Pandeshwar inspector Diwaker intercepted him and found   fake certificates  of an engineering student named Jayaprakash. 

During interrogation, he admitted that he was operating the racket with the help of Ravindranath Nayak who was subsequently arrested.

 Investigations are in progress.
