Panic as resident spots leopard near Kumpala

Mangaluru, Nov 01, 2021: There is a sense of fear among residents of Pilaru Palla near Kumpala in Someshwara town municipal limits after a local resident reportedly spotted a leopard.

 

Shivaraj Ponnuswamy was on way to his daughter’s residence at around 9.30 pm when he saw an animal crossing the road and seeing its colour and tail has suspected it to be a leopard. The pug marks were however not visible as it had rained.

Forest officials however maintained that they have no information about the development.
