Panjikallu tragedy: CM hands over Rs 5 lakh cheques to families of victims

Bantwal, July 13, 2022: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on July 12, Tuesday handed over cheques of Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin of the three labourers of Kerala origin who died due to a landslide at Mukkuda in Panjikallu village of the taluk on July 4.

 

The family members of the deceased labourers Biju Palakkad, Santosh Alapura and Babu  Kottayam received the cheques at the Bantwal Tourist Bungalow.

Revenue Minister R Ashok, DK District in-charge Minister Sunil Kumar,  Fisheries Minister S Angara, State BJP Chief Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs Rajesh Naik, Sanjeeva Matandoor and others were present.
