Patient dies; six injured in ambulance-school vehicle collision

Kasargod, Jan 16, 2024: A collision between an ambulance and a school vehicle at Kumble Shiriya  on January 15, Monday evening has claimed the life of the patient in the ambulance. Six others including five students have sustained injuries in the mishap.

 

The deceased is Suresh Kumar of Kannur. The school vehicle of a private school of Shiriya was ferrying children to home while the ambulance was on way to Mangaluru from Kannur with the patient Suresh. Soon after the accident, Suresh was shifted to another ambulance and rushed to Mangaluru. However he breathed his last enroute.
