Patrolling by cops on Charmady ghat to keep eye on tourists making merry

Belthangady, July 8, 2024: Highway patrolling police have commenced patrolling on the Charmady Ghat road to keep a check on tourists who stop their vehicles enroute and make merry at the spots where water gushes from amid the hilly areas.

As it is raining heavily since the past few days, a long line of vehicles are seen parked on the sides of the ghat section to enjoy scenic beauty resulting in traffic snarls. Many were also seen clicking photos at dangerous spots.

In this backdrop police patrolling is underway and tourists are cautioned against any misadventure.
