Police arrest two, seize 590gms ganja

Mangalore, April 27, 2011: Ravindra Gadari, the assistant commissioner of police, and his team arrested two persons on April 27, Wednesday at Central Market and confiscated 590gms of ganja and Rs. 4,320

 

Acting on a tip off, the police team arrested Shareef (34), the son of Abdul Khader of Kudroli, and Iqbal (44), the son of Ahmed of Nadupalli in Kudroli, when they were trying to sell the ganja at Central Market near the beef and mutton stalls.

The accused are now in the custody of the Mangalore North (Bunder) Police Station and a case has been registered against them.
