Udupi, Nov 25, 2024: A protest was organized on Monday at Brahmagiri Circle under the leadership of the Hindu Jagarana Vedike, Udupi district, against the alleged police harassment of the organization’s activists.

Addressing the gathering, Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar criticized the Congress government, alleging that it was using the police department to oppress Hindu activists. He claimed that this was an attempt to suppress the organization’s activities and ideology. "The police should do their duty as law enforcers, not act as agents of the Congress," he remarked.
