Puttige Swamiji tests positive for Covid-19 ; admitted to KMC, Manipal

Udupi, July 21, 2020:    Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji, the pontiff of the Puttige Mutt, one of the Ashta Mutts of Udupi, has tested positive for Covid-19. The  Swamiji is presently undergoing treatment at KMC Hospital, Manipal.

 

It has been gathered that the Swamiji was suffering from fever since the past few days. If everything was fine, he was supposed to begin his annual Chaturmasa Vritha at Padigaru Mutt  beginning today.
