Puttur: 2 Hindu activists arrested for posing with machetes, posting photo in social media

Puttur, April 10, 2025: Two Hindu activists were arrested by the police on Thursday after filing a suo moto case against them for posting a photo of them posing with machetes in hand, in social media. The case was filed after the photo of the two went viral.

 

Those arrested are Sujith of Kuriyada Kattadabail in Puttur taluk and Puttanna of Aryapur. The two had also captioned their photos as Time creating panic among the people.

Of the two accused, Sujith was earlier reportedly associated with the Hindu Jagarana Vedike.
