Puttur : 3 more accused arrested in Charan Raj murder case

Puttur, June 07, 2022: Police have arrested three more accused in the case of murder of Charan Raj Rai of Perlampady in Koltige villege of Puttur.

Those arrested are Kishore Poojary, Rakesh Madivala and Remanth Gowda.

 

The murder took place on June 4. Charan Raj  was hacked to death allegedly by Kishore Poojary and his gang with an iron rod. Later it came to light that a previous enmity had led to the murder. The deceased Charan  was an accused in the Karthik Merla murder case and was out on bail. He was murdered while he was running around to make arrangements to open a medical shop at Perlampady.

Police had earlier arrested Narmesh Rai, Nitil Shetty and Vijesh in connection with the murder.
