Puttur: CAMPCO Fiesta Finale held at Campco chocolate factory

Puttur, Aug 28, 2023: The CAMPCO Ltd, an institution known for its unwavering dedication, to the farming community celebrated its golden jubilee this year. On this occasion, it successfully organized CAMPCO Fiesta 2023 – an interschool quiz competition that brought together young minds from the 8th and 9th standards across three districts: Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kasaragod. The event witnessed an impressive participation of over 12,000 students and 2,000 teachers representing 60 schools from the region.

 

 

 

The Grand Finale of CAMPCO Fiesta 2023, took place on August 27th, 2023, at the CAMPCO Chocolate Factory, Kemminje, Puttur. The Grand Finale brought together the brightest young minds, with two students from each participating school – those who had emerged triumphant in their respective school rounds – vying for victory in a true intellectual spectacle.

Anagha VP and Vaishnavi M R from Ambika Vidyalaya, Puttur emerged as the triumphant duo, clinching the prestigious first place with a cash prize of Rs 25,000. The second place, accompanied by a cash award of Rs 15,000, was secured by Abhinav Roy and Thanush Rai from St. Mary’s High School, Belthangady. Meanwhile, the third position was claimed by the team from BEMHSS Kasaragod – Sanjana M and Thrushali N Shetty – who received a prize of Rs 10,000.

A standout feature of the event was the enriching experience offered to all participants, teachers, and parents present at the Grand Finale – a guided tour of the CAMPCO Chocolate Factory. This immersive encounter provided a firsthand look into the chocolate production process, adding a tangible dimension of experiential learning to the event.
