Puttur: College student who attempted suicide, dies in hospital

Puttur, February 13, 2025: A Paramedical student who had attempted suicide by hanging herself and was undergoing treatment at a hospital, has failed to respond to treatment and died on Wednesday.

The deceased is Pratiksha (18), daughter of Ravindra of Bedrala in Puttur. She was a student of a private paramedical college of Puttur.

Pratiksha had hanged herself on February 9. She was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Puttur and then admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru where she succumbed.

The reason behind the suicide is not known. Puttur town police have registered a case.
