Puttur: Hindu activists raise objection to boys, girls of different communities having juice

Puttur, Aug 26, 2022: A tense situation prevailed  near the city bus stand in the town on August 26, Friday after  members of right wing organisations raised objection to some youth belonging to different communities who had come to a cafe  to have juice.

 

It is learnt two Christian girls, a Hindu girl and two Muslim youth had been to the cafe. On gathering information, the Hindu activists opposed the youngsters of different communities mingling with each other and informed the police.

SI Srikanth Rathod whorushed to the spot, eased the situation after speaking to the boys and girls and also their families.

A large crowd had gathered at the spot following the incident.
