Puttur: Scooterist dies in collision with car

Puttur, February 10, 2025: A scooterist died after his two-wheeler was hit by a car on the NH 75 near Shirady on Sunday.

The deceased is K J John (59) from Mittanaje Kottayil in Shiradi village. John was returning from the town when a car on way to Dharmasthala from Bengaluru rammed into his two-wheeler from behind.

The injured was rushed to the hospital in a vehicle accompanying former MP Nalin Kumar Kateel who was travelling on the same route.
