Puttur: Three men arrested for hunting stag

Puttur, Aug 24, 2023: Forest officials have arrested three men on the charges of hunting a stag in the reserve forest at Patrame near Uppinangady. The carcass of the stag has been seized.

 

The forest officials who were on a night patrol near the Kapila river on August 23, Wednesday night heard a gunshot in the forest. They immediately rushed towards that spot and apprehended the three who had shot dead the stag.

Those arrested are Kotiappa Gowda, Sudesha and Puneeth. Further investigations are underway.
