Rash driven Scorpio kills 2

Mangalore, August 21: Two pedestrians were killed in a road accident at Panambur on Aug 21, Saturday when a Scorpio ran over them at Kudremukh Junction at Kulur. The deceased are Deekshith of Kadri and Ganesh of Thokkottu.

Eyewitnesses say that the Scorpio was being rashly driven. The teenaged driver, son of Asha Shetty, was arrested shortly after the accident.

Panambur police say that the victims were waiting for the bus when the Scorpio dashed into them. Reportedly, Akash had taken the car without his parents’ knowledge.

The Panambur police have registered a case and investigations are on.
