Raymond’s Gym organizes district-level body building contest

Mangalore, Sep 28, 2012 : Raymond Classic 2012, a district-level body building competition, was held at Town Hall on September 27, Thursday. The event was organized by Raymond’s Gym and South Kanara Amateur Body Building Association, to mark the 15th anniversary of Raymond’s Gym.

 

 

 

 

The winner of the 2012 Raymond Classic Award was Kishan Devadiga of Raymond’s Gym. The Most Muscular 2012 Award was won by Prakash D’Souza of Handsome Multi Gym in Beeri Kotekar.

Chief guests of the event M. S. Kumar, Ivan D’Souza, Mahesh Kumar, Arun Kumar, Wilfred D’Souza, Raymond D’Souza and others lit the lamp and inaugurated the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Ivan D’Souza said that successful body builders such as Raymond have inspired the establishment of several gyms in Mangalore. Voicing his opinions about body building, he said that body building is very tough sport and requires government assistance.
