Red alert: Holiday for schools, colleges in DK and Udupi on Thursday

Mangaluru, July 06, 2022: As a red alert is issued by the India Meteorological Department for the districts, the Deputy Commissioners of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts have declared holiday for schools, colleges and Anganwadi’s  on July 7, Thursday.

 

On Wednesday, both districts witnessed very heavy rains.

An orange alert is also issued by the meteorological department on July 8 and 9 in the twin districts.
