Renovated Manjeshwar Govind Pai Circle inaugurated

Mangaluru, Mar 24, 2022: The renovated Rashtrakavi Manjeshwar Govind Pai Circle also known as Navabharath Circle at Kodialbail was inaugurated by Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath on March 23, Wednesday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The circle has a bronze statue of Govinda Pai  in a sitting posture, holding the Navbharata newspaper in his hand. An ancient well which was found inside the circle has been preserved  and a fountain has been set up using it to add beauty to the place.

Mayor Premanand Shetty, Deputy Mayor Sumangala Rao, former mayors Diwaker Pandeshwar, Shashidhar Hegde, Bhasker K and others were present.
