Renowned Yakshagana artiste Vidyadhara Rao Jalavalli to be conferred Balkur Yaksha Kusuma Award

Mangaluru, March 7, 2025: Renowned Yakshagana artiste Vidyadhara Rao Jalavalli will be conferred the Balkur Yaksha Kusuma Award at a function to be held at the auditorium of Kudroli Sri Bhagavathi Temple at Kodialbail, under the aegis of Balkur Yaksha Kusuma Charitable Trust and Ranga Sthala Mangaluru on March 9, Sunday.

On this occasion Yakshagana shows “Gadayudha” and “Raja Rudrakopa” will be performed by artistes of Sri Kshetra Hattiangady Mela from 4 pm to 10.30 pm.

Expert Group of Institutions Chairman Narendra L Nayak, Senior Chartered Accountant S Nayak, SL Nayak and Dinesh Pai of Rangasthala, Puttanna Kulal Foundation President Dr Annaiah Kulal and others will participate as chief guests.
