Rider dies, another critical after bus rams into bike

Bantwal, November 4, 2024: A bike rider lost his life while another person sustained critical injuries after a private bus rammed into the bike at Kadegoli near Maripalla on Sunday night.

The deceased is Praveen (30) of Kadegoli. His friend Sandeep who is seriously injured, has been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

Both the deceased and injured work as salesmen and were returning home after duty when the mishap took place.

The bus driver fled the scene of the mishap soon after. Rash and negligent driving is said to be the cause of the mishap.
