Rider dies as scooter skids on NH near Udyavar

Kaup, December 12, 2024: A scooterist lost his life after his two-wheeler skidded  on the National Highway 66 at Udyavar on Tuesday morning.

The deceased is Babu Shettigar (65), a tailor from Kaup. He was on way to Mangaluru from Udupi when his scooter skidded and he lost control over the vehicle. Though Shettigar was immediately rushed to hospital, his life could not be saved.

Kaup police have registered a case.
