Roller Skating Club holds inter-school roller skating race

Mangalore, Feb 19, 2012: The Roller Skating Club of Mangalore organized its 11th inter-school roller skating competition on Feb 18 – 19 in commemoration of its 20th anniversary. Around 230 students from 29 schools all over the district participated in this competition. 

Corporators Sudheer Kannur and Roopa D. Bangera inaugurated this event, which comprised the rink race, which was held on Saturday evening, and the road race, which was held early in the morning of Sunday near Kadri Park.

Sharanya Mahesh, the winner of the 14th Asian Roller Skating Championship medal, and 7 others were felicitated on this occasion.
