SPG advised Modi against visiting Krishna Mutt, reveals Shobha

Udupi, May 02, 2018: In a shocking revelation,  Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje has  said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi refrained from visiting the Sri Krishna Mutt during his visit to the temple town on Tuesday,  owing to security issues.

 

Reacting to a query from media persons she said the Prime Minister was advised by the SPG against visiting the Mutt.

However, the exact reason behind this is not known, she said.

Shobha also stated that PM Modi was disappointed  as he was unable to visit the famous Mutt.
