Salon attack case: 14 accused remanded to judicial custody

Mangaluru, January 25, 2025: The 14 persons arrested in connection with the attack on a unisex salon at Bejai in the city, have been remanded to judicial custody till February 7 by the court.

It may be recalled here that Rama Sena activists had vandalized the salon on Thursday afternoon alleging immoral activities. Among those arrested included Rama Sena leader Prasad Attavar. They also reportedly threatened the women staff and others in the salon.

Barke police in a swift operation arrested the accused in the case.
