Mangaluru July 2, 2016: The newly appointed Dakshina Kannada district unit BJP President Sanjeeva Matandoor took charge from outgoing President Pratap Simha Nayak at a function held at Town Hall here on July 2, Saturday.
In his presidential speech, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said Sanjeeva Matandoor has been entrusted with the onerous responsibility of leading the party in the district. He also lauded erstwhile District Chief Pratap Simha Nayak for his outstanding efforts in strengthening the part in the district.
Launching a tirade on the Congress Government, he said the government is in a state of coma due to internal strifes.
MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik who also spoke said the BJP has accepted the challenge and will continue to strive to make Karnataka a Congress Free State.
Newly appointed DK BJP President Sanjeev Matandoor said that after 17 years of service as General Secretary now it is an honor and dream come true to be the president of DK BJP. Matandoor said that now every step will be taken as a challenge and it is a huge responsibility to be the president.
Former BJP president Prathap Simha Nayak said that the new District President’s vast experience in politics would come handy in leading the party in the district.
