Sanyasi Gudde road works in Balmatta initiated

Mangaluru, Nov 16, 2014: The task of laying a new concrete road at Sanyasi Gudde in Balmatta was initiated on November 16, Sunday. JR Lobo, MLA of Mangaluru South inaugurated the road works.

In his address, Lobo informed that  Rs 5 lakh would be contributed towards the project from the MLC fund of Ivan D’Souza.

 

Vinayraj, local corporator said  Rs 43 lakh has been earmarked for the laying of the road and another Rs 23 lakh for the drainage works.

Mayor Mahabala Maarla, who was present as a chief guest, said the MCC would  put in efforts to complete several pending projects in a phased manner.

Ivan D’Souza, MLC, Tejomaya, former MUDA chairman, TK Sudhir, Arun Coelho and several others were present.
