Schools can adjust backlog classes by functioning during holidays: DC

Mangaluru, July 08, 2022: As schools and colleges in the district have remained closed throughout this week, after the district administration declared holiday in view of heavy rains, Deputy Commissioner has asked educational institutions to adjust the backlog lessons by conducting classes during public holidays.

 

Holiday has been declared for  educational institutions since Monday following a Red Alert issued by the Weather Department. The measure was taken to ensure safety of school children particularly when roads are water logged and drains are overflowing.
