Scooterist breaks KSRTC bus glass with his helmet; case filed

Mangaluru, December 2, 2024: An incident wherein a scooterist broke the front glass of a KSRTC bus with his helmet after the driver questioned him for blocking the bus, took place at Alape on Sunday at around 7.30 pm.

The Kankanady police rushed to the spot and took cognizance of the issue. The bus was on way to Bengaluru from Mangaluru and the KSRTC authorities made alternate arrangements for the passengers.

A case has been registered against the bike rider for obstructing the duty of a government worker and for damaging public property based on the complaint filed by the bus driver.

Police are on the lookout for the accused scooterist.
