Security stepped up in border areas following bomb blast in Kerala

Mangaluru, Oct 30, 2023: Security has been stepped up in Dakshina Kannada district in the wake of a serial bomb blast at an auditorium near Kochi.

 

Police are checking vehicles arriving from Kerala and going towards Kerala in the border areas and check points have also been set up at Devipura, Tachani and Talapady. Police are also checking vehicles at Nettilapadavu, Taudugoli, Nandarapadpu, Narya and Mudungarukatte.

Police protection have been provided to prayer centres at Permannur, Thokkottu, churches  at Ranipura, Paneeru and Babbukatte. Police have also kept a vigil at other churges in Konaje police station limits apart from other places of worship.
