Senior CPI(M) leader Raghava Anchan passes away

Mangaluru, September 4, 2024: Senior CPI(M) leader Raghava Anchan Bajal passed away following a brief illness. He was 85 and is survived by his wife, four daughters, two sons and a huge number of well-wishers.

Anchan was active in various movements of the working class and was an inspiration to many. He was also part of a Padayatra organized by the farmers’ organization in 1973 from Mangaluru to Bengaluru demanding the enforcement of the Land Reforms Act.
