Mangalore, June 5: Senior photographer of Times of India, Mangalore, Ravi Posavanike has won the first place in the Canon Photo Contest for Photo Journalists. He received a Canon 7D camera.

The contest, which was based on the topic “Politics and Politicians,” had about 175 entries.
The jury comprised renowned photographers such as Sudhir Shivaraman, Wasim Khan, and Dr. Akash Ross.
The second prize winner is Anantha Subrahmanya of DNA, who received a Canon 550D camera.
