Senior social activist PB D’Sa no more

Mangaluru, September 24, 2024: Veteran social activist Patrick B D’Sa, who was popularly known as PB D’Sa passed away at a private hospital in the city on Tuesday morning. He was 83 and is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.

PB D’Sa who had served as the State President of People’s Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) had always raised voice against injustice and oppression and was in the lead in organized fight against alleged police excesses.

His family sources said his mortal remains would be donated to a private hospital on Wednesday, as per his wishes and there will be no religious rituals or offering of flowers.
