Several injured in bus accident after driver loses control near Vittal

Bantwal, Feb 11, 2023: A bus skidded off the road after the driver lost control near Kelinja near Vittal in Bantwal Taluk on Saturday. The bus was going from Vittal to Mangaluru when the incident took place.

 

A young girl was seriously injured and several passengers in the bus escaped with minor injuries. As per the report, the driver lost control of the vehicle near the Kelinja and crashed onto the compound wall.

Locals allege that the accident might have been caused due to over-speeding and bid to overtake another bus.

The police immediately rushed to the spot to examine the incident. Further details are awaited.
