Shankarpura: Electric scooter gutted in accidental fire

Kaup, April 11, 2023: An electric scooter was gutted in an accidental fire  at Kanchinakere in Innanje  near Shankarpura on April 10, Monday evening.

 

The vehicle was parked outside the house of Neema Joseph, wife of Joseph Lobo. The vehicle was gutted within minutes right in front of the family members and seven birds which were in a cage nearby also died due to the heat of the fire. Even agricultural implements and pumpsets which were nearby were damaged.

The bike was purchased just a year ago. A case has been registered in Kaup police station.
