Shirva: Miscreants damage holy cross in Kattingeri

Shirva, February 22, 2025: Miscreants have damaged a holy cross at Kudramale near Kattingeri in Moodubelle village.

The cross located in a private land, was being worshipped by Christian families of the neighborhood since the past 30 years. The damaged cross was first noticed on the morning of February 19. The local Christians had offered prayers here around 15 days ago. When they had been for prayers again on February 19, the cross was found damaged.

A complaint has been lodged in Shirva police station and investigations are underway.
