Shirva: SI dies of heart attack

Shirva, September 17, 2024: Nityananda Shetty who was serving as sub-inspector in the Wireless Control Room of the  office of the Udupi SP, has passed away on Tuesday morning due to a heart attack at his residence at Shirva. He was 51 and is survived by his mother, wife, a son and daughter.

Shetty had served the police department for nearly 28 years and was earlier posted at Coastal Security Police.
