Mangalore, Jan 23: “I have never seen or heard about a chief minister as incapable as Yeddyurappa, in the history of Karnataka,” said Opposition Congress leader Siddaramaiah.
Addressing a press conference in the city on Saturday, he made a mockery of the CM by saying the CM never minded visiting Bellary district, even if he was not greeted by the DC or SP of the district as per the protocol during his visit there.
He also accused Yeddyurappa of failing to find solutions to the problems though he often referred to the same during his public speeches. “ Today people are confused as to who was stronger, whether Janardhan Reddy or Yeddyurappa,” Siddaramaiah remarked.
“Never in the history of the state, have the farmers been as aggressive as they are during the BJP government,” he said adding the government has proved beyond all doubts that it was incapable and that all its schemes in various fields have failed.
Stating that the energy department in the state was the worst, he said Yeddyurappa’s finance department stood second in this respect. The government which complains of funding problems for various schemes has however failed to effectively utilize the funds released by the government, he further alleged.
Siddaramaiah also predicted a BJP debacle in the coming BBMP elections.
