Kundapur, Jan 26,2013: Sri Rama Sene Chief Pramod Mutalik has declared that the Sri Rama Sene would not allow the setting up of the Tipu Sultan University in Karnataka under any circumstance.

Continuing, he claimed that the setting up of the university for minorities will spell more trouble for the nation. Mutalik also stated that there was no provision in the Constitution for a separate university and demanded an apology from the Union Minister Rehman Khan for going against the constitution and have a university after Tipu Sultan.
He said the Sri Rama Sene was also against the Western style of celebrating Valentine’s Day and demanded that educational institutions should not permit celebrations.
On the statement of Union Minister of State for Home Sushil Kumar Shindhe regarding Hindu terrorism by RSS, Mutalik likened the statement of the home minister to a statement by Al-Qaeda. He also claimed that the statement of the minister aimed at the vote bank politics.
