Stone pelting during Congress protest: Cops arrest three persons

Mangaluru, August 20, 2024: Police have arrested three persons in connection with the incident of stone pelting on a bus during the Congress protest held in the city on Monday to condemn the Governor’s act of allowing prosecution of CM Siddaramaiah in the MUDA case. It may be recalled here that a female passenger was injured during the stone pelting.

Those arrested are Anwar, Kishore Shetty and Shahul Hamid.

The DK Bus Operators Association has urged stringent action against those responsible for pelting stones at the bus.
