Students enjoying picnic at Pilikula water park thrashed by vigilante group

Mangaluru, Jan 02, 2018:  Students of a college  who were on a picnic at the Manasa Water Park at Pilikula were  attacked by activists of a Hindu outfit on January 2, Tuesday.

 

It is said  that the students, including both boys and girls were from Pompei PU College at Talipady in Aikala. It is said that students of three different faiths were enjoying the picnic when the Hindu activists  surrounded them and began thrashing them.

The police who rushed to the spot have  rescued the students while dispersing the trouble mongers. Sources said the accused were seen hitting the students and even slapping a girl in front of the police.
