Subrahmanya: 3 students critically injured after car knocks them down

Subrahmanya, June 02, 2023: Three female students of the Sri Subrahmanyeshwara Pre-University College sustained serious injuries after they were knocked down by a speeding car on June 1, Thursday.

 

The students were returning home towards Subrahmanya town when the car knocked them down from behind. The seriously injured students namely Sinchana V P, Bimbika and Hanishka have been hospitalized. Three other girls namely Shalini, Jashmitha and Krithi sustained minor injuries and have been sent home after treatment at Subrahmanya Government Hospital.

The car has been seized and a case has been booked against the driver. The driver was reportedly sleepy resulting in the mishap.
