Subrahmanya: Anjaneya shrine theft accused arrested

Sullia, November 7, 2024: Subrahmanya police have arrested a man from Dharwad in connection with the burglary in the Abhaya Anjaneya Temple managed by the Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple.

The arrested person is Veeranna Gowda (26). The theft had taken place on the night of November 3. Pooja materials and CCTV camera were stolen. The Kukke shrine CEO had lodged a police complaint regarding the theft.

Police checked nearby CCTV footages and noticed the suspect wandering around the temple and took him to custody.
