Subrahmanya : School teacher arrested under POCSO for sexual abuse of student

Subrahmanya, Aug 09, 2021: A  high school teacher of a local educational institution was arrested by the police on August 8, Sunday on the charges of sexually abusing a  female student and even threatening her.

 

The accused identified as Gururaj of Raichur has been booked under POCSO Act. It has been gathered that he used to summon a student to his house on the pretext of project work. Later, he somehow convinced the girl and used to take her photographs after undressing her. He then used to blackmail her showing the photos and was forcing her to get cash from home.

The victim’s mother in her complaint to the police has also alleged that the  wife of the accused too had abetted her husband in the illegal act.
