Sullia: Car overturns at Devarakolli; Ganja seized, three arrested

Sullia, April 14, 2025: A car accident occurred at Devarakolli after the driver lost control, and during the inspection of the vehicle, packets of ganja were found on Saturday evening.

The car, which was traveling from Periyapatna to Puttur via Madikeri, overturned at Devarakolli after the driver lost control. Locals who rushed to help discovered packets of ganja inside the vehicle.

They immediately informed the Madikeri Rural Police Station. The police arrived at the scene, detained the passengers from Puttur—identified as Fajjuddin, Mustaq, and Jabir—and seized the ganja packets, initiating further action.
