Sullia: Municipal worker commits suicide

Sullia, July 06, 2022: A 33 year old municipal worker  of the town panchayat who had attempted suicide and was hospitalised, has passed away in the hospital.

 

The deceased is Devanath (33) of  Duggaladka. He had reportedly consumed some poisonous substance while sitting on the bridge at Kodialabailu of Sullia on Monday afternoon. His friends who came to know about this had rushed to the spot and had admitted him to local hospital. He was later shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru where he died.

The reason behind his extreme step is not known.
