Sullia: Rider injured as stags jumps on bike

Sullia, September 30, 2024: A bike rider sustained serious injuries after a stag jumped on his bike at a place called Jalakadahole on the Panja-Guttigaru road on Saturday night.

The rider  Tirumaleshwara has sustained injuries in his hands, legs and shoulder and is admitted to a hospital in Kadaba.

Forest officials have visited the place. Wild animals like stag, bison and elephants are fequently spotted in the area and stags are often seen crossing the road.

It may be recalled here that a bike rider lost his life after a stag all of a sudden jumped on his vehicle at Kulkunda near Subrahmanya a few years ago.
