Suratkal: Rider dies in scooter-lorry collision

Mangaluru, October 23, 2024: A two-wheeler rider lost his life after a lorry rammed into his vehicle near the Sooraj International Hotel at Suratkal, on the NH 66 on Tuesday night.

The deceased is Ravi, a resident of Mukka. He was an employee of Union Bank.

Ravi had just discharged his wife who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital and had sent her in an autorickshaw and was following it from behind when the mishap took place.

A critically injured Ravi was rushed to the hospital, but could not be saved.

Mangaluru North Police have registered a case.
