Suspicious death of man in train; case filed

Udupi, October 28, 2024: A man who was travelling in a train from Bengaluru to Murdeshwar fell ill near Mulki and died while being rushed to the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Mauzam (35), son of Amir Khan of Chikkaballapura. Meanwhile his family members expressed suspicion over the cause of the death stating that the body bore marks of rope tightened around the neck.

The tower location of the mobile of the deceased last showed Sakleshpur. It is suspected that someone might have killed him to rob his bag and mobile phone.

Mulki police are investigating the case.
